Breathedge 2 Attendant Parts Guide: Where to Find the Body, the Head, and the Hidden Arm
This page covers exactly where all three Attendant parts are (the body below the platform, the head by the train benches, and the tiny arm by the blue-machinery bridge), the search method that finds the arm fast, and what happens when you assemble her. The Attendant is an early side quest in Breathedge 2: a damaged robot near the starting train needs three missing parts — a body, a head, and an arm — before she can come back online. Two of them are easy to spot. The arm is the reason this quest eats time: it's tiny, it blends into the wreckage, and it sits somewhere most players don't think to look. This page tells you exactly where each piece is and how to find the hard one without circling the map.

Three parts, one return point
What You Need
The quest needs three physical parts, all close to the starting train — none require travelling to another region. The damaged Attendant is your return point for all three pieces. Collect whichever obvious part you pass first, then save the arm for a deliberate search.
The Body
the easiest to recognize.
The Head
small but clearly a head.
The Missing Arm
the hard one. It's much smaller than the quest name suggests: closer to a small forearm and hand than a complete shoulder-to-hand robot limb.
Below the platform
The Body
The body is floating below the nearby station platform. From the broken Attendant, move down around the lower side of the nearby station structure and look beneath the platform — not out toward the distant debris field.
The large torso is in that lower space. Keep the station platform above you while searching; the torso is nearby, not deep in the surrounding wreckage. Grab it and bring it back. Once a piece is close to its socket, the placement guide makes attachment straightforward — you don't need to rotate it into a perfect orientation.
By the benches
The Head
The head is near the benches and seating area around the starting train. Return toward the familiar train-side structures and search the bench area first, before checking anything farther away.
It's smaller than the torso, but its shape stands out far better than the arm. Take it back and attach it.
A useful checkpoint: if the body and head are both installed but the quest still says "Assemble the Attendant," move on to the arm search. Don't wait for another dialogue trigger, and don't try to remove the parts you've already attached.
Why this quest eats time
The Arm — The Hard One
The arm is the real reason this quest can take much longer than expected. Compass directions don't help (one rotation in zero gravity changes what "left" and "right" mean), so use a cluster of physical landmarks instead. When you find all three together, you're in the right area:
- Blue goo / blue material around the machinery.
- A small metal bridge or platform.
- Three orange ball-shaped objects around the same structure.
The arm is floating just off the small bridge — not beside the damaged Attendant — and it's tiny. At normal travel speed it looks almost identical to another loose piece of metal.
The search method that works:
Get beside the small metal bridge.
Face the blue machinery.
Check just beyond the edge,
not the middle of the platform.
Move slowly enough
for the interaction prompt to appear.
Look slightly above and below the same edge
before changing position.
The depth trap
The arm can appear next to another object on screen while actually sitting a few meters in front of or behind it — so a flat side-to-side sweep isn't always enough. Inspect the space around the bridge edge in three dimensions.
Still missing it?
Return to the bridge — don't widen the search. The least productive attempt is increasing the search radius. It's still beside the bridge. Reset at the blue-machinery + three-orange-balls landmark and inspect that same small volume again. If the blue goo machinery is no longer close to you, you've expanded the search too far. And if you have to leave for oxygen, return to this same landmark afterward.
No extra recipe
Assembling Her
With the body and head already attached, carry the arm straight back to the remaining socket.
There is no extra repair recipe after the third piece — installing the arm brings the Attendant online immediately, and she starts the "Welcome to the Outskirts" introduction.
If she's standing there with the body and head attached but the quest is still active, go back for the arm rather than troubleshooting the NPC. The assembly objective is finished only when all three pieces are installed.
Completing the Attendant also grants the "Every station needs an attendant" achievement (Physical Protection +2), and the base opens to reveal a small stash of materials.
After the opening route
When to Do It
If the station is still frozen and the train systems barely work, there's little benefit in turning this side objective into a long search before the starting area is usable. Get the Outskirts opening route going first, then do the Attendant as you work the same area.
Opening route first, Attendant alongside it.
Four traps
Common Mistakes
Thinking body + head is enough.
The model looks almost complete, but the quest stays active until the arm is installed.
Widening the search for the arm.
It's beside the bridge. Return to the blue-machinery landmark and search the same small volume again.
Flying fast, wide loops.
The arm is tiny — slow down so the interaction prompt appears.
Looking near the Attendant for the arm.
It's off the metal bridge with the blue machinery and three orange balls, not beside her.

Quick answers
FAQ
- Where are the three Attendant parts?
- The body below the station platform, the head by the benches near the train, and the arm beside the blue-machinery bridge with three orange balls.
- How do I find the arm fastest?
- Go to the blue goo machinery + small metal bridge + three orange balls landmark, then search slowly just off the bridge edge, checking above and below — don't expand the search radius.
- How big is the arm?
- Very small — closer to a forearm and hand than a full robot arm. At normal speed it looks like any other metal fragment.
- What happens when I assemble her?
- She activates immediately with the "Welcome to the Outskirts" intro — no repair recipe needed after the third piece. You also get the attendant achievement and a material stash.
- Do I need anything before starting?
- Not really — but if the station is still frozen and the train barely works, do the Outskirts opening first so you're not searching on empty systems.
- Why is my quest still active after two parts?
- The arm is missing. Install it and the objective completes — don't troubleshoot the NPC.
