Breathedge 2 Collectibles: All 50 Items, Where to Find Them, and What Each Needs

Scattered across the wreckage of Breathedge 2 are 50 strange items left behind by previous survivors — books, notes, photos, posters, toys, and junk. Most you'll pick up while exploring; a few require fixing something or using the right tool first. This page covers the full list by type, every collectible with a confirmed location, and how to grab them in an efficient order — grouped by area and by whether they fall along the main quest or need a deliberate detour. The collectibles guide is still being completed, so expect more locations as the Early Access build gets fully documented.

How Collectibles Work

There are 50 collectibles in the game, split across a few types:

  • Books

    ×4

  • Notes

    ×4

  • Photos

    ×1

  • Posters

    ×14

  • Toys

    ×13

  • Misc Junk

    ×14

  • Video Tapes

    ×0

Most are found by simply exploring and grabbing whatever looks out of place; a handful only unlock after you do something specific — repair a machine, find a tool, or complete a small task. So far, 13 of the 50 have confirmed locations (listed below); the rest are still being documented for the Early Access build, so a missing entry means "not documented yet," not "doesn't exist."

Every confirmed location

Known Collectibles

Here's every collectible with a confirmed location, grouped by type, with how to get to each one.

Books

2 confirmed
  • Babe's trashy read

in the toilet on the train. No requirement. This is the easiest collectible in the game: it's on the very first train, in the bathroom, before you even leave the starting area. Grab it during the opening instead of making a return trip.

  • Life Note

in the Anime Shuttle. No requirement. The Anime Shuttle sits below the train platform, and it's worth checking inside whenever you're in that part of the map — it's also where one of the Outskirts' seven toilets is.

Notes

1 confirmed
  • Lucky ticket

at the Tickets station, near the broken ticket machine. No requirement. You'll pass the Tickets building during the three-antennas main quest, so grab it on that visit rather than a separate trip. (The back of the ticket also carries a code that a quest needs.)

Posters

4 confirmed
  • Missing Nanny

on the sign across from the attendant platform. No requirement. In the same area as the Attendant side quest, so pick it up while you're assembling the robot.

  • Missing pump

on the side of the crashed No. 2 bus, just before the Hubble. No requirement. Sits on the route toward the Hubble screens; grab it when you're heading to the third antenna or the playground.

  • Humans only

    GATED

near the diggers' hideout, and you need the Twister tool to unlock the door. This one is tool-gated: come back once you have the Twister.

  • Need Fuel

on the train platform. No requirement. On the main platform, easy to grab during any early return to the train.

Toys

4 confirmed
  • Capybara

on the slide at the Playground, near the Hubble. No requirement. Grab it while doing the playground side quest (hiding the mannequins) — it's in the same spot.

  • Roly-poly Marie Curie

    GATED

inside the baggage container underneath the train; you need the Twister tool to undo the fasteners. Tool-gated, and under the train rather than on it — easy to miss if you only check the platform.

  • Clickedge 2

    GATED

inside the building across from the Police Station, in the gaming console near the TV in the first room. You need to repair the Service Warmer to get inside, so this one waits until you've fixed that.

  • Xatab

inside the Hubble screens. No requirement, but you have to get inside the Hubble structure itself rather than just near it.

Misc Junk

2 confirmed
  • Carrier

at the cosmostation terminal. No requirement. On the train platform area; a quick grab whenever you're docked.

  • Lootbox

    GATED

on the train platform; you need to plug the hose into the waste disposal plug on the side of the train. Requires the small hose-hookup step, so it's a "do the thing first" grab.

Video Tapes — none in the current build. More collectibles and their locations are being added as the guide develops.

Clear a zone in one pass

Collectibles by Area

If you'd rather clear an area in one pass than chase individual items, here's how the confirmed collectibles group by location:

  • The train & train platformBabe's trashy read (toilet), Lootbox (hose hookup), Need Fuel (platform), Roly-poly Marie Curie (under the train, needs Twister), Carrier (cosmostation terminal).
  • Anime Shuttle(below the train platform) — Life Note.
  • Tickets station areaLucky ticket (near the broken ticket machine).
  • Attendant platformMissing Nanny (sign across from it).
  • Police Station areaClickedge 2 (in the building across from it, needs Service Warmer repaired).
  • Hubble / Playground areaMissing pump (No. 2 bus before the Hubble), Capybara (playground slide), Xatab (inside the Hubble screens).
  • Diggers' hideoutHumans only (needs Twister).

Grab as you pass

Collectibles Along the Main Quest

Not all collectibles need a detour. Several sit directly on the Chapter 1 main path and are worth grabbing as you pass:

On the main quest path

Babe's trashy read (opening train), Carrier and Need Fuel (train platform, early), Life Note (Anime Shuttle area), Lucky ticket (Tickets station during the antennas quest), Missing pump (route to the Hubble), Capybara (playground, once the Hubble appears).

Worth a deliberate detour

Roly-poly Marie Curie and Humans only (both need the Twister), Clickedge 2 (needs the Service Warmer repaired), Xatab (inside the Hubble), Missing Nanny (attendant platform area), Lootbox (hose hookup).

The rule of thumb: grab everything on the main path as you go, and treat the tool- or repair-gated ones as a "come back later" checklist once you have the Twister and have fixed the Service Warmer. The Twister is covered on the tools page.

Three traps

Common Mistakes

  • Assuming every collectible is a casual pickup.

Several need a tool (the Twister) or a repair (the Service Warmer, the hose hookup). Check requirements before making a special trip.

  • Expecting all 50 to be documented.

The guide is a work in progress; only confirmed locations are listed here, so a missing entry usually means "not documented yet," not "doesn't exist."

  • Making separate trips.

Bundle collectibles with the quest that passes their area — the antennas quest, the playground, and the Attendant assembly each have collectibles along their path.

Quick answers

FAQ

How many collectibles are there?
50 total — 4 books, 4 notes, 1 photo, 14 posters, 13 toys, 14 misc junk, and no video tapes.
Do collectibles do anything?
They're collectibles for collection's sake, tied into the exploration side of the game. Several sit near achievements, so they're worth grabbing while you're in the area.
Will more locations be added?
Yes. As the Early Access build gets fully documented, the remaining collectible locations will be filled in.
Which collectibles need the Twister?
Two confirmed so far — the "Humans only" poster and the "Roly-poly Marie Curie" toy. Both are worth a return visit once you have the tool.
