Breathedge 2 Achievements: All 39, How to Unlock, and Every Bonus Trait

In Breathedge 2, achievements aren't trophies — they're upgrades. Every one of the 39 achievements grants a bonus trait: a permanent stat boost that makes survival more forgiving. This page lists all 39 with how to earn each and what it gives, plus the ones worth prioritizing early. Some achievements come naturally from quests, while others need specific random acts as you explore.

Not trophies — upgrades

How Achievements Work

The system is simple: complete a main quest, a side quest, or a specific random encounter and an achievement pops. Every achievement permanently boosts a stat — extra maximum oxygen, faster flight speed, slower hunger drain, and so on. You can see them all, and the bonuses they grant, under the Achievements tab in-game.

Because the bonuses are permanent, there's a real case for grabbing the easy ones early rather than waiting to stumble onto them. A handful of the most useful bonuses are below, with the straightforward way to get them.

Grab these first

Best Bonuses to Prioritize

  • Maximum Oxygen +30

the single most useful bonus. Get it by inspecting 10 corpses (grab them and pull them toward you) or by picking up 300 Oxyworms over time. More oxygen is more time outside, which improves everything else.

  • Maximum Stamina +10

from getting 20 items out of trash cans (hit the cans with your Scrap tool). More stamina is more sprinting and more movement.

  • Maximum Thirst +10

from pulling the emergency brake, or returning a glove to the suicide victim. Thirst is one of the fastest-draining meters, so the extra headroom pays off.

  • Oxygen Consumption -5%

from fixing the "4" sign outside the train station, or launching the Thronehauler. A permanent cut to oxygen burn is a long-term win.

  • Flight Speed +5%

from several exploration achievements (stealing the donut, taking off your helmet in space, doing 10 reps on the exercise machine, and more). Movement efficiency adds up across the whole game.

  • Carry Weight +10

from yanking 10 moles using Sui's hand. More carry weight means longer scavenging runs.

If a specific stat is your constant wall — always out of air, always hungry, always cold — check whether an achievement solves it before grinding materials for it.

Two traps

Common Mistakes

  • Treating achievements as optional flavor.

They're permanent stat boosts. Skipping them is leaving free upgrades on the table.

  • Assuming everything unlocks by playing normally.

Some need deliberate acts — stealing the donut, drinking 50 beers, unscrewing 10 bulbs. Check the list and grab what's cheap.

Quick answers

FAQ

Do achievement bonuses stack?
Yes — each achievement's bonus trait applies permanently on top of the others.
What's the most valuable achievement?
The Maximum Oxygen +30 bonuses (10 corpses, or 300 Oxyworms) have the broadest effect, since oxygen limits almost everything you do.
Will there be more achievements?
Yes. This is Early Access with Chapter 1 only; more achievements will arrive with later updates, and the guide will grow to match.
Some achievements have no description. Why?
A few unlock conditions haven't been documented yet for the Early Access build. They're listed by name, and details will be added as they're confirmed.
